“Started a basement renovation. Found signs of a rat infestation. I was horrified. I called vault, they answered at 8:30 at night. Came out the next day. Thoroughly went through my basement and my property. Thank God it was an old nest from when the previous owners lived here. Mike from vault went above and beyond, took down all the old insulation and went step by step with how to do the abatement/clean up myself. I would have happily paid him to do it, but my bride has faith in me lol. Anyway, prompt response, didn’t try to manipulate me into buying anything, and very friendly and thorough.”

“After a long holiday weekend we came home to find “droppings” pretty much all over the house. Unsure if it was mice droppings or another critter – I searched for a local pest control company. My search led me to Vault. I called and was greeted kindly by the owner, Mike. He spent quality time on the phone walking me through all the possibilities and giving me advice to put my family at ease. We determined that emergency service was not needed but he would respond to my house the following day.

After a thorough assessment – Mike concluded that my chimney cap was installed improperly and a critter entered through the chimney. He identified sounds from the chimney chute and diligently placed a trap in the fireplace and built a make shift tarp so the critter would not enter the house again.

Not positive we also set mouse traps strategically around the house.

The next morning we heard sounds from the trap and located a small baby squirrel.

Mike responded later in the day and patiently spent time with my 8 year olds and developed a plan to set the baby squirrel free in my backyard. A great lesson for my boys!

“If I can pass a bad review for a company that stood me up, I must leave this 5-star review for Mike. After waiting over an hour for a person to show up with failed communications, I finally gave up and started searching for a new pest control. Fortunately, I found Mike, who runs the company, local, and most importantly, responsive!!! My phone was picked up right away which was unexpected after trying different companies. Within a couple of minutes, I was scheduled first thing next morning. Mike showed up right on time and informed his plan on the way to the property. While I was having an online meeting, Mike was doing his job thoroughly and completed by the time I finished my meeting. He explained what he has done and provided an invoice with itemized treatment. “Excellent and quick service by Mike at Vault. I wish I knew about him previously however I called at least seven other services because I had a bird caught in my fireplace. Every other service provider said they could come out possibly the following day give me an estimate but it would be a week before they could do anything. Luckily we found Mike at Vault around 5Pm. I was pretty panic stricken by that point because all I could think of is that I’d have to spend the whole night with that bird flying around in my fireplace.
